Measuring Theory:

Foam including opened pore materials and closed pore materials.opened pore soft foam materials has good compression resilience.it is very easy for air to flow in pore after compressed.Therefore,materials can get back to previous thickness.Closed pore foam materials has very bad water absorption.Mainly apply to insulation,energy absorption and sealing industry.

Density has effect on foaming's durability and supportability.it can make difference on compactness and frothing percentage.In general,high density and good foaming ability can keep original physical property to meet production target.The measurement standards for Polymer,sponge rubber,eva,pu,foam,PE foam and opened pore materials that identified by ASTM D 3574 is immersion saturated method;the measurement standards for closed pore materials is for solids typical testing method.

Opened Pore Products Measuring Procedure:

(1)Place sample on testing board to measure weight in air.Press ENTER key to memory.

(2)Place sample into water to extrude back and forth.to make sure its' internal pore in the state of saturation water.place it on testing board,press ENTER key to memory.

Closed Pore Products Measuring Procedure:

Place sample on testing board to measure weight in air.press ENTER key to memory.

Place sample into water.density value will be displayed instantly(No need to press ENTER key again)
